Vyr Muk — Crimson Fields of Sorrow

Vyr Muk is a musical project of Vladyslav Blizniuk from Kharkiv, Ukraine, which debuted in 2023.The project works in the genres of black/death metal and ambient, with a focus on dark, deep themes.

Crimson Fields of Sorrow, out now as of April 10, 2025. This new album is a raw and atmospheric journey through desolation, sorrow, and the decaying remnants of civilization.

Crimson Fields of Sorrow immerses the listener in a sonic battlefield — frigid riffs, melancholic ambient textures, and vocals steeped in anguish come together to form an unforgettable soundscape. The record explores themes of war, existential decay, and inner torment, with lyrics presented in Ukrainian.

This album is a ritual of grief and defiance — a hymn for the fallen and a curse upon the void.
