Bahmuth — Serpent’s Word

Black metal band Bahmuth was formed in 2023 in an effort to focus all the aggression and fury of the Ukrainian underground scene in music. Therefore, the name of the unshakable ancient fortress perfectly reflects the mood of the musicians. During two hellish years, Bahmuth, drawing inspiration from the darkness of forgotten times and modern history, created an uncompromising soundscape, combining cold, dissonant riffs, a barrage of rhythm section with bottomless vocals and ritualistic atmosphere of true Black metal. This year, Bahmuth presents its long-awaited debut album Serpent’s Word — a fierce and atmospheric embodiment of art from the abyss. Created in hellish times, this release conveys unrelenting aggression, eerie melodies, and uncompromising dedication to the genre. Serpent’s Word is nine tracks of high-speed brutal Black metal, the lyrics of which are full of dark philosophy along with anti-religious and misanthropic views.

Bahmuth’s musicians create an uncompromising sound that reflects the essence of true Black Metal, while paving their own path.
