Blood Desecration started from the ashes of past bands that the original singer Jacob Johnson, drummer Dave, the singer and lead guitar player JT, and the bassist Jake were involved with as well rhythm guitarist Sophie Wesselhoff. Influences ranging from Slayer to Metallica to Dark Tranquility, Acid Bath, and beyond, back in 2022 with the original singer Jacob Johnson and then rhythm guitar player Sophie Wesselhoff had left the group at the end 2023, Jacob moved to the UK and Sophie followed her education.

At that time JT took over vocal duties as well as sticking with the lead guitar until we recruited Owen Sehm in 2025. Since the formation of this band, we have done much that most local bands never or don’t get the chance to do. We have been on tour after only 4 years; we have shared the stage with many national and international bands such as Whitechapel, Goatwhore, The Obsessed, Internal Bleeding, Stabbed, Obscura, Squid Pisser, Kings of Thrash ( members of Megadeth ), Luicidal ( members of Suicidal Tendencies ), Pentagram, Fallujah, King Parrot. Deteriorot. Our very first EP was 3 songs, second EP was 3 songs, our first album had 6 songs, and now in the process of our first full length 10 song album. It has been an amazing ride so far, and hope for more.
