2012. The Mayan apocalypse somehow didn’t happen. In 2013, a project called Scrapy Yard was brought to life, which eventually emerged as «.Comin».
Along with the dynamic changes in the line-up, the musical style of the band has also been evolving. During this time, the band performed frequently, building its brand.
In 2015, the band’s first album was released. The record has been received very well by the underground media.
The next four years brought more changes in the line-up. However, this didn’t stop the band from performing. «.Comin» succeeded several times at local music band contests.
In 2019, the guys decided to register their second album. While working on the recordings, the discrepancies in the vision of the album’s sound led to a conflict. As a result, the guitarist and the founder left the band. Therefore, «.Comin» registered the album as a quartet, looking for a new guitarist.
On April 1, 2020, the band’s second album, with the mysteriously ciphered title «23 45 32 11 33», had its premiere. The album has been received well by the media and the listeners. In the meantime, the band recorded several videos promoting the album. Pandemic restrictions have limited the promotion of the album severely. Nevertheless, «.Comin» gave concerts whenever possible.
In October 2022, the conflict escalates, as a result of which the guitarist and vocalist leave the band.
In 2023, the group recruited a new vocalist and released 3 new songs, thus starting a new chapter of their musical activity, again as a quartet. Currently, «.Comin» is finishing preliminary work on material for the third album.
«We try to combine everything that turns us on while writing songs. We keep balancing between nu-metal and trash, metalcore and classic heavy, punk rock and progressive metal. We call it just … very metal.»
