Norrköping, Sweden – Swedish extreme metallers Cruentus have unleashed their third full-length album, End Without End, via Kvlt und Kaos Productions. Following the critically acclaimed releases Night Embrace Me (2020) and Fossilized (2022), End Without End continues the band’s relentless exploration of death, black, and thrash metal, further cementing their place in the Scandinavian extreme metal scene.

Formed in Norrköping in 1998 by Martin Öhman and Petter Bocian, Cruentus quickly became a force in the underground metal community. Inspired by Scandinavian legends such as Dissection, Edge of Sanity, Dismember, Entombed, At the Gates, and Dark Tranquillity, as well as classic heavy metal acts like Metallica and Iron Maiden, the band built a sound that is both ferocious and intricately melodic. After early years of rehearsals, demos, and local shows, Cruentus released their debut album Night Embrace Me to critical acclaim in 2020. Their follow-up, Fossilized, arrived in 2022 through Kvlt und Kaos Productions, further refining the band’s aggressive yet precise approach to extreme metal.

End Without End was recorded at Deathskull Studio E, engineered by Johan Nääs, and mixed and mastered by Lawrence Mackrory, delivering a polished yet punishing sound that seamlessly blends the brutality of death metal, the darkness of black metal, and the raw intensity of thrash. Lyrically, the album continues to explore human emotion, the complexities of existence, and our turbulent coexistence with the world around us.
With End Without End, Cruentus proves once again that they are masters of crafting music that honors the Scandinavian metal tradition while pushing their sound into bold new territories.
