Death Pigeon is an extreme metal band from Bristol, UK. They write short horror stories and create music around the tales. Their debut album «Vol 2: The Rewiring of Humanity” was released on February 10th 2023 and follows a character named “The Specimen” living in a steampunk Victorian-esq city filled with plague, death and mechanical augmentation, the story is taken from “The Rewiring of Humanity” written by JD (available on Amazon and Bandcamp). The band currently consists of just two members, JD and Neil.
JD is a multi-instrumentalist, he writes the music, lyrics and the short horror stories behind the music, and is the vocalist and bass player.
Neil is a multi-instrumentalist, he writes the music, is the guitarist, and is in charge of production, mixing and mastering.
On July 3rd Death Pigeon released «Vol 2a The Instrumentals”, and is currently working with some DJs and Producers from around the world to create «Vol 2b The Remixes” a further reimagining of their debut album Vol 2. They are also working on «Vol 3 The Experiments» which is a small EP consisting of 4 tracks out side of any story or written tale, it will be released later on in 2023. JD has already started writing the next short story for their album Vol 4 which will be released in 2024.
