The Deithesis project started in 2020, Darren began recording demos of guitar and bass tracks in April, these tracks included the reworking of material from previous band Viocosis.

The project had to be put on hold due to Darren breaking his wrist and undergoing surgery in 2021. After a lengthy healing period the project would resume in 2022 with the rhythm guitar parts getting finalised and the drums being recorded. The final alterations were made to the lyrics and Allan completed the vocals early 2023.

The guitar harmonies and solos were added during the Summer of 2023 and ‘Equilibrium’ was eventually released on Halloween 2023.
