Hybridized formed in 2016 in Rome, born from the union of five musicians with shared influences but distinct sonic identities. The band’s name reflects their approach to blending elements of thrash, groove, and death metal into a sound that is powerful, dynamic, and constantly evolving.

In 2017, they released their debut EP Mental Connections, a three-track studio effort featuring the single House of Nightmares, which was accompanied by an official music video. This marked the beginning of an intense period of live shows and songwriting, culminating in August 2019 with the recording of their self-titled full-length album, Hybridized. Released in 2020, the album is defined by a solid and aggressive sound that balances groove, raw power, and melodic touches. Lyrically, it explores existential, religious, and political themes through the personal lens of vocalist Marco Patarca.

After years of artistic growth and experimentation, the band returned in 2025 with Voices, their second studio album. The result of a spontaneous and instinct-driven writing process, Voices breaks free from rigid structures and stylistic boundaries, giving life to a collection of diverse tracks that shift between brutality and introspection. Each song stands as an autonomous entity, shaped solely by the inner “voices” that inspired it. No concept, no stylistic cages—just creative chaos turned into music.

With the release of the album Voices, the band also unveiled the official video for the track 220.
