As their sound evolved, they welcomed Chinese folk instrument players, adding new depth and texture to their sonic palette. From there, Lill Chii set out on a journey to seamlessly weave the essence of Chinese folk music into the raw power of Western heavy sounds.

Their distinctive fusion quickly caught the attention of the local music scene, earning them a spot among the top four in the 2023 Victorian qualifiers for the world-renowned Wacken Open Air festival.
