MJM

Country: Canada
Genre: Hard Rock / Melodic Metal
Founded: 2003

MJM—an acronym for the band’s visionary frontman, Michael J. Miller—are poised to captivate audiences with their latest musical offerings.
The journey began when Miller founded the renowned Canadian metal band, Rapid Tears. After signing with Chameleon Records, they released two impactful albums, “Honestly” and “Cry for Mercy,” making significant waves across Europe. Following the success of Rapid Tears, Miller launched Adrenalin, which produced the powerful album “Dedicated” under the German label Long Island Records.
Seeking to express his evolving musical identity, Miller ventured into a solo project under the name MJM. The debut album, “Ascension,” showcased an array of captivating guitar-driven instrumentals, including standout tracks like “The Chase,” “Mountain Boogie,” and the title piece, “Ascension.” This album established MJM as a formidable talent in the music scene.

The journey continued with the sophomore album, “Valley of The Kings,” featuring compelling singles such as “Dogs of War” and “Black Eyed Susan,” which were enriched by profound lyrics and impressive guitar work in tracks like “Backstreet” and “Medicine Ball.”
MJM followed this success with “MJM INSTRUMENTAL,” a powerful compilation of exhilarating guitar instrumentals pulled from «Dedicated,» «Ascension,» «Valley of The Kings,» and new compositions.
The accolades have poured in for MJM, with the band winning Best Rock Song an impressive 17 times at the Akademia awards in Hollywood. In 2019, they received the prestigious Akademia Executive Award, followed by the Akademia Artist Vision Award in 2020 and the Rising Star Award in 2021.
