​​The Origins (2001-2009)
​The NERUMIA project was officially born in 2001 in the Swiss mountains, the fruit of a collaboration between Pasquale «Scual» Rivetti and Philippe «Phil» Privet. The duo made their mark on the scene with two albums: The Land of the Black (2003) and I Don’t Understand (2007). However, the band’s rise was brutally interrupted by the sudden death of Phil Privet in 2009, plunging the project into a ten-year hiatus.

Rebirth and Tribute (2020-Present)
​In 2020, a new lineup emerged with the arrival of Magnus and Juan. Fate struck again with the tragic loss of Juan in 2022. Refusing to let silence win, the group chose to honor his memory by completing the album Senza Realtà (2023), integrating the guitar solos he had recorded.
​Today, NERUMIA has returned to a trio format with the arrival of Adrien, ready to write the next chapter of their history with the album Aliénation.
