Formed in 2011 in Kyiv, OnesteP emerged from the ambitions of a group of young musicians fueled by nu metal, alternative, and rapcore. The band’s early years were a whirlwind of lineup changes, relentless local shows, and spontaneous creativity — a true “journey of growth”. Even then, they were laying the groundwork for the material that would define their future releases.
By 2015, a solid lineup was in place, and OnesteP began working with focus and determination. This period of dedication led to their debut EP, Haunting Satellites (2017), which quickly resonated with audiences both live and online.

Their next step was the full-length album Eternal Beauty of Destruction (2019). Choosing to self-produce the record was a bold challenge that tested the band’s endurance, but their efforts paid off. The album achieved notable success on streaming platforms, expanded their fanbase multiple times over, and the single Page of Agony earned repeated radio play in Ukraine, the U.S., and the U.K.
Even amid the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, OnesteP pressed on with new music, now with a new vocalist. The band actively performed at Kyiv charity events supporting the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and in 2023 released the single Zero Gravity, accompanied by a compelling studio live video.

A major turning point came in 2024, when the band’s vocals shifted to a female front and Brood joined the team. Reflecting on the change, the band explained: “It was a radical step, even for us, but over a year of focused work on new material has proven that it was the right decision.”
Since the start of 2026, OnesteP has unleashed three new singles — Terminated, 2000.22 and Arise. With a drummer search underway to revive live performances, the band is already hard at work on new music, continuing to push boundaries and expand their sonic universe.
