ORBSTRUCT — ‘A Decade of Transcendence’

Ten years after their formation and less than a year after the release of ‘Ostracism’, their third full-length album, ORBSTRUCT return with ‘A Decade of Transcendence’ — a live concert film celebrating the band’s first decade of existence, recorded live in Kraków, Poland.

The release features a complete live performance comprising nine songs selected from the band’s three full-length albums, released throughout these ten years and representing different stages of its artistic evolution.

However, A Decade of Transcendence is more than a commemorative live release, and far more than an attempt to summarize the journey so far.

It is a reflection of the ideas that have defined ORBSTRUCT‘s creative vision for an entire decade.

Critical thinking, self-development, and the pursuit of freedom from imposed perceptions of reality have always remained at the core of the band’s lyrical identity. At the centre of these stories stands an individual compelled to question accepted truths, dismantle inherited beliefs, and confront the inevitable consequences of profound inner transformation.

Suffering has never been an end in itself within these songs. Rather, it has served as an unavoidable consequence of seeking truth, abandoning illusion, and striving toward a more conscious existence.

For this reason, A Decade of Transcendence was chosen as the title of this release — a symbol of ten years spent exploring themes of self-overcoming, liberation from dogma, and continuous personal transformation through music.

Over the years, the world surrounding ORBSTRUCT has changed repeatedly. A global pandemic, war, the forced displacement from a hometown situated on the front line, painful separations, line-up changes, and the necessity of rebuilding nearly everything from scratch — experiences capable of challenging any creative endeavour.

Yet throughout all of these upheavals, the band’s commitment to move forward, seek its own answers, and remain faithful to the principles on which ORBSTRUCT was founded has never wavered.

Rather than viewing this path as a story of obstacles overcome, the band regards it as a process of constant forward motion and inevitable inner transformation.

The concert captured in Kraków became a moment where the past and present of ORBSTRUCT converged into a single point.

Not as the final chapter of a story.

But as another step along a path that continues to unfold.
