Persevera is a project started in Sumaré/Brazil in mid-2020 by Danilo Bredda (guitar), together with Paulo Carrara (vocals), Thadeu Castro (bass) and Claudio Lima (drums). Since then the band has been in the studio for recordings, whose material is enough for two complete albums.

In August 2023, the band released their debut album, Genesis, which brought together all their previously released singles in a fresh new mix exclusive to the album. Currently, the band is in the studio working on their next album, now in its advanced stages—only the vocals remain to be recorded.

Meanwhile, the band has exciting news: the addition of two new guitarists, Jésus and Zilds. Both are long-time friends and collaborators of the band, and their arrival expands the lineup to three guitarists.
Jésus was the first to join, and to celebrate his addition, the band recorded a cover of Black Sabbath’s Selling My Soul. A music video for this cover is planned for release in the near future. Zilds joined shortly afterward, further solidifying the band’s dynamic new lineup.
