Time to Kill (TTK) formed in 2007 in central Wisconsin by guitarist Keith Monville and drummer Paul Huser and eventually got the line up finalized with Chad Nordman on bass and Nicole Williams on vocals. The band name is basically why the band got together…we all had some time to kill so we started jamming. 2008 the band released the debut cd “Insanity” on Turkey Vulture Records and started touring the Midwest for a couple years. Two singles with music videos were released for the tracks “Rise & Fight” and “Insanity”. After a few years some band members no longer had the time to kill and moved on and replacement band members were brought in and re-placed for the next few years.
2012 the band got a stable line up again and had the 2013 cd release “Ashes to Ashes” through 101 Distribution and started touring the Midwest again with the revamped line up and sound. Singles and music videos were released for “99 Bottles” , “Ashes to Ashes” and “Chocolate Covered Bacon” soon after. After a few years the band started working on the new release “S.B.A.H.” but then some band member legal issues delayed the process and then covid hit. This delayed the 2017 initial release of “S.B.A.H.” Since then some band members either had continued legal issues or just ran out of time to kill and moved on.
2022 the band is at it again with a revamped line up and the official release of the finished “S.B.A.H.” cd. The story behind the release is in the liner notes of the cd but it features music and recording from past and current band members. It signifies 10 years of Time to Kill (2007—2017, when the cd was supposed to be released) and 10 years since the last release (2012—2022). The release has new ver-sions 2 tracks from the last release plus 8 new tracks (10 total). The band will release singles and music videos in the near future and start the Midwest tour again as well.
